The patented DCN Belt Chiller is a cutting-edge industrial belt cooler designed for improved efficiency, faster cooling, and automated unloading - helping food manufacturers reduce production time, costs and labour.
Unlike traditional drum-based chillers, the Belt Cooler features a flighted belt system that gently massages the bags, optimising chilled water circulation for superior cooling performance. This innovative design significantly enhances cooling speed, particularly for viscous products.
For additional efficiency, chilled water is sprayed over the bags during the cycle, further accelerating the cooling process.
The Belt Chiller’s self-unloading system streamlines operations, unloading a 500kg batch in just 60 seconds—a drastic improvement over conventional drum chillers, which take approximately 25 minutes.
At the end of the cooling cycle, the belt lifts the bags from the water and transfers them directly into the customer’s tote bin. This automated handling system eliminates manual labour, reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) and improving workplace safety.
