DCN Systems can produce dairy and non-dairy beverages using Jet Process and Jet Cook™ Technology. Fruit-based, maize, energy and nutrition drinks are made in a fraction of the time, using significantly less equipment/vessels.

We have recently launched the Jet Process System; a combination of technologies developed in their new Research and Development Centre, with the aim of streamlining each individual step of the production process of extended shelf-life ambient beverages.

Customers can now not only cook at high speed with DCN’s award-winning Jet Cook, but they can also utilise features including Entrain, Mix, Sterilise and Cool in an efficient all-in-one system.

A wide range of beverages can be produced using the same system, including condensed and evaporated milk, maheu and brushera as well as dairy.  Long life shelf juices, chutneys, jams, marmalade and Atchar can be produced using surplus fruit which in some areas of South Africa can amount to 100 tons + per day.

African producers require the flexibility to produce smooth or coarse Maheu and other beverages using ingredients such as cassava, sorghum and milk powders. The new Jet Entrain powder induction system can entrain 600kg of maize flour in just two minutes.  The patented hopper and injector nozzle creates ultimate vacuum to disperse the powders into the liquid without any blockages.  The texture of the finished product is controlled by the amount of shear inside the Jet Cook™ chamber.

The same system has the flexibility to make different beverages including milkshakes, condensed milk, fruit juices, and other products which require rapid energy efficient heating.   In Africa and Mexico we have systems to produce grain-based drinks such as Maheu, Mi Desayuno and Chibuku (beer) at between 500 and 24000ltrs p/h.  In South Africa and Azerbaijan there are condensed milk systems for retail and food service producing between 500ltrs and 5000ltrs p/h.
